Step one: choose the right shirt first. Pick the team, season and design you want, then check the size using our Size Guide at https://vortexjersey.com/size-guide. Sizes are S, M, L, XL and XXL, with a contoured athletic fit — order one size larger if you prefer a loose fit. Do not order custom printing on a size you have not checked, because the print is made for that shirt.

Step two: decide exactly what to print. Most buyers choose one of three options: their own name and a lucky number, a favourite player name and number, or a team-style number with no name. Keep it short and clear. Long names can look crowded on a back panel, and unusual spellings should be copied exactly as you want them printed, letter by letter.

Step three: check spelling and numbers twice. This is the most important step in this whole guide. Read the name aloud, check every letter, and check the number digit by digit. A single wrong letter — for example, a swapped vowel — becomes a permanent print. Customised jerseys are prepared as per the details you provide, so they are not returnable. If you are ordering as a gift, confirm the spelling with the person first.

Step four: understand the price. Custom name and number printing is available at an additional charge, on top of the shirt price. Step five: place the order with correct delivery details. Use a phone number that is on and reachable, and a complete delivery address. Custom orders take the same delivery window as standard orders, but a wrong address or unreachable phone can delay delivery for any order.
